Computer Lab Guidelines for Raspberry Pi and other electronic devices

    1. All Raspberry Pi workshops are to be scheduled through CASA and communicated to Lisa Preble, the Instructional Lab Manager

    2. Under no circumstances are DVI & HDMI extender cables to be unplugged from the monitors. Please use this extender cable..

    3. Please provide your own DVI to HDMI adapter.

    4. Plug your DVI to HDMI adapter into the provided DVI extender cable. Again, do not plug any adapters or cables directly into the monitor.

    5. Do not unplug keyboards and mice. Please provide your own keyboard & mice.

    6. Do not open the desks. There should be no reason to access anything inside the desks. Eventually they will be locked shut.

    7. All power is provided at the front of the desks. Use power strips or power extender cables to attach devices to power at desk fronts.

    8. Absolutely no painting, gluing, or any work with liquids is allowed inside computer lab areas whatsoever.

    9. Please make sure all trash including supplies and electrical wires & waste is removed from the room. Pay extra attention to leftover cables & mess left inside computer cages.

    10. Please schedule a walk through prior to your event to make sure all equipment is in working order and DVI cables are available.

      1. Verify monitors, keyboards & mice are plugged in and working.

    11. Please schedule a walk through after to your event to make sure all equipment is in working order and DVI cables are available.

      2. Verify no trash or waste is left at tables and computer cages.
